Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how ControlCurve ("we," "us") collects, uses and discloses information when you visit www.controlcurve.tech (the "Site"). It does not apply to third-party sites linked from the Site.
Information we collect
- Server logs: like most websites, the Site's hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information for each request, such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, referring URL, and browser and device type. This is used to keep the Site running and secure.
- Theme preference: if you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the Site looks the same on your next visit. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- Information you provide directly: if you email us at an address on our Contact page, including to request the quarterly briefing, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it to reply and, if you asked for the briefing, to send it. You can ask to be removed at any time.
The Site has no user accounts, comment forms or sign-up forms, and we do not sell personal information.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This Site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. ControlCurve does not set cookies of its own. Cookies on this Site are set by Google in connection with advertising. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the privacy and cookie settings link that the message adds to the Site.
Other third-party services
- Google Fonts: the Site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google.
- Analytics: we do not currently use a separate website analytics service. If that changes, this policy will be updated before it is switched on.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of personalised ads at any time via Google Ads Settings.
- Block or delete cookies, and clear local storage, through your browser settings.
- Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to its processing — contact us via the Contact page to exercise these rights.
Children's privacy
This Site is intended for a professional, adult audience working in industrial engineering, operations and technology roles. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last reviewed" date above.
